This was our final class and we were encouraged to either draw or paint a self portrait. A mirror stuck to my easel, I braved painting... I did a 'trial run' with acrylic paint on newsprint first, and then moved over to my canvas. One of the girls said it reminded her of a Modigliani - it must be the elongated neck! Unfortunately the class ended before I got round to the eyes, the most difficult bit in my opinion, so here I am, quite spooky looking. I promised my teacher to complete the eyes at home, but haven't... maybe one day...
